I have a passion for machines and their performance.
I am an enthusiastic, adaptable individual with a passion for design and engineering. I build and create, be it moving architecture, escape room games, automotive parts or event spaces. Someone once said I must have been “born with a spanner in my hand”. It started with lawn mowers and vacuum cleaners when I was young, it moved onto motorbikes and cars in my teens and now I get my mechanical fix developing and racing a classic mini. I try to use my design and engineering skills on a day to day basis solving problems to develop mechanical and beautiful products.
So where does the events work fit in?
12 years ago I found myself working “front of house” for a circus show in the west end of London. Although a massive departure from previous employment I enjoyed the interaction with people and the fast pace. This moved on to placements during the Edinburgh, Adelaide and Melbourne fringe festivals. Being freelance allows me to continue working in this world alongside my design work. Most recently working with Capgemini university to deliver their employee training events in Paris.
